Because famous people want to meet me.
So who am I?

Ahoy! =D That's me on the left, with Steel Panther's Michael Starr.

What do pirates drive on land? is basically a small biographical site for me, so I'll be keeping an occasional blog, maybe putting up some photos, and when I produce something of merit showing off my painting skills =]

Me? Well I'm 19, English and Evertonian. Living in Lincoln emplloyed as a professional bum. Musically I listen mainly to heavy metal/rock music, but you can check out a full music profile here. I'm not much of a gamer, but I own a 360, and have fallen in love with both Mass Effect. I read a fair amount, across all genres - at the minute 'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini is my favourite book, and would also recommend the film adaptation. Every so often I pick up the paintbrushes, and do a little 28mm scale modelling (no, the link above won't take you to photos of me posing, if that's what you were hoping =P), but I don't really complete a great deal, because I tend to let my focus wander. I also think that I might be addicted to Relentless. If Jesus had been a fizzy-drink kinda bloke, Relentless would have been his tipple of choice - it's that awesome.

Artists I'm currently leeching off: STEEL FUCKING PANTHER!
Last Gig: Steel Panther at Nottingham Rock City, October 29th.

So there you go, that's pretty much an introduction to me - there's not much on the site at the minute, but feel free to have a look round =] The modelling blog will just have some photos of whatever I'm working on at the moment, and the portfolio link will take you to just that - an online portfolio for any web-design work that I do. You might also find a template or two up for free download there =] The links page just has links to a few sites that I think are worth having a look at, and the thanks page has a couple of messages to people =] The site itself is best viewed in just about any browser (compatible with IE7, Fx 2/3, Opera 9, Safari 3.1 and Chrome 3.x), in any resolution bigger than 800x600. Those of you still using 800x600 need to get with the times =P For those of you that want to get in touch, you can email me at paul [att] paul-shepherd [dott] com. =]
